A-4275 (Prieto, Eustace, Lagana, Greenwald, Quijano, Danielsen, Mukherji, Sweeney, Turner, Sarlo)
Created a virtual Small Business Retirement Marketplace, administered by the State Department of Treasury, to help more New Jersey residents save for retirement by facilitating connections between small employers and private retirement plans. The program, which is voluntary for both small employers and their employees, would educate businesses with fewer than 100 workers about how they can find low-cost, low-burden retirement savings options for their employees from approved private financial firms.
